I personally have been using light weight mice for about 4 year. I made the switch from a heavy mouse, the Logitech G 502 hero. For reference I wear a size 8 wedding band and have “piano hands” (generally long and more slender fingers). I can palm a very gripping regulation size basketball if that helps.

I play a lot of FPS games CS, Tarkov, and many others. I can say when I made the switch it was odd at first. After a week or so there was a noticeable stamina difference when making those “sick flicks” and longer gaming sessions didn’t hurt my wrist near as much. Movement also left smoother. So if you are looking to make the switch or just looking for some more options here are my top 5.

Glorious Model D wireless

1. The Glorious Model D wireless. I placed this at number one because it is the mouse I currently use. I’ve had it for 3 years and don’t regret the purchase. I really like the feel of this mouse in hand.
The is a clear direction when holding the mouse (if you are right handed you will find this mouse a natural fit) The grip size is spot on, the skates are smooth, and at 45$ it’s a no brainier.
If you are a left or like a more neutral grip check out the model O 2 wireless for 80$ or the model O 2 wired for 50$. Can’t go wrong with any of these options.

HyperX Pulsefire Haste

2. The HyperX Pulsefire Haste is other light weight mouse I have owned. This light weight mouse is similar to the Model D mention above however, the grip on this mouse is more neutral, the mouse buttons are shorter, and the general size of the mouse is smaller. I found it did not like this mouse more than the Model D because of the size. I like a mouse that fills my palms and this mouse was not it. If you have smaller size hands and like a neutral grip this mouse is for you. Currently siting at 50$ this mouse is a steal.

SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless

3. The SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless was the first light weight mouse I owned. At right round 50$ at the time of writing this it’s not a bad buy. The form factor is extremely similar to the pulsefire. Neutral grip shorter buttons, smaller grip. I am not ranting on this mouse simply because the build quality was not there for me. I own the mouse for 6 months before I had a dead right click. I have seen plenty of great reviews on this mouse. Maybe I’m rough on mice or just got a lemon but I would not pay the full 120$ for this mouse.

Pulsar Gaming Gears X2A Wired

4. Now we are into the Mice I haven’t owned. The Pulsar Gaming Gears X2A Wired looks great on paper. 50$ on amazon, ambi form factor, and optical switches! This mouse is next on my list to try. The only down side is the availability for the wireless version, which is currently out of stock on amazon and Pulsar’s website.

Razer DeathAdder V3

5. And this one is for the fan boys, the Razer DeathAdder V3. I have personally never owned any razer products. I don’t know if I ever will but I have used this mouse for a short time and can say I like the feel. This mouse is more comfortable for people with larger hands. I will say the texter on the mouse is not non existent, sweety hands wont work well without added textured grips. At 60$ for the wired version I think you can do much better but you can do a lot worse.
