This is my first attempt at Blogging. I wanted to bring something new to the computer building community by provide insight in a more analytical way.
I want to start with a build I have been looking into myself but in a more budget friendly option. I’ll list the parts, along with with a chose that particular part. The parts lists I provide are put together using PC parts picker. I will list out the link for each part as found on Amazon, Purchasing through these links will not always be the most cost effective option but any purchase through these links will provide a small commission for myself and this channel and is greatly appreciated. Lets get started.

  1. Case
  2. Motherboard
  3. CPU
  4. RAM
  5. GPU
  6. PSU
  7. Storage
  8. CPU cooler
  9. Fans and Accessories
  10. Conclusion and build list

For this build I chose the Lian Li A3-mATX. I chose this case for three reasons. I chose this case because of the Price, the looks, and the customization options.

At 90$ on amazon for the premium version the price is right for me. At the 90$ price point you get a M-ATX mini tower with a glass side pane and a wood finish front panel. Along with the sleek design you also get aftermarket support for custom front panels and a vertical mount GPU bracket. I have seen some pretty awesome builds on reddit with this setup. Like the one listed below by reddit user rubia86.

I chose the ASRock B650M Pro RS WIFI Micro ATX, why you ask? Well for the price it is top notch. You could buy a Gigabyte A620M S2H Micro ATX or MSI PRO B650M-P Micro ATX AM5, but you would be lacking WIFI, Ram capacity, 1 PCIe 16 slot, and 2 m.2 sockets. With that being said the extra 30$ is well worth it. Plus if you like the white and black looks it will match well.

I chose the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X. I chose this CPU based on cost to performance. Currently in the sub 200$ for gaming this is one of the best CPUs you can find.

The GPU on this build is going to be the Radeon RX 7600 XT 16 GB version. This was a tough choice but I wanted to keep this build as budget friendly as possible. You can get an RTX 5060 TI or a RX 9060 XT but I only recommend the 16 GB version. If you can find them at MSRP it’s the better option.

The PSU is more personal preference, I picked the MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750 W 80+ Gold, why you ask. Well it’s a good price at 99$, it’s fully modular (something I this is needed for the Lain Li A3 Case), it is a 750 W ( you can upgrade and have wats left), and it comes with a 10 Year manufacture warranty from MSI. (not a fan boy, but I have had an easy time with their customer service on more than one occasion)

I’ll give it to you straight on this one, it’s storage! PICK WHAT YOU WANT. (Remember this MB has more than enough m.2 slots) Buy a 1TB drive now and upgrade latter.
I added the Silicon Power 1TB UD90 because it’s cheap and not crazy slow storage.

Here I picked the Thermalright AXP90 X36. It’s a low profile cooler that will work will with the lain li A3 case. There is also a few color options for people looking to add that extra flare to their build.
Keep in mind if you are looking to go with a vertical GPU mount on this build I would recommend using an AIO instead to help air flow and keep cool. Check out the Thermalright Aqua Elite V3.

Maybe this is getting nitty gritty but for those of you who want to know what fans and accessories I would use here it is. If you are not running a vertical mount GPU I would recommend 4 120mm fans, 3 for exhaust mounted on top, one for exhaust mounted on the back. Use the GPU and PSU fans for intake. Here is a good option Thermalright TL-S12. Grab your self a fan hub while you’re at it, the ARCTIC Case Fan Hub works great!

We have come to the end of the build. This build was my take on a budget friendly M-ATX PC. Hope you like it.
